On 17 January 2026 Warmane released the first Wrath of the Lich King raid tier on its progressive realm Onyxia: Naxxramas, The Eye of Eternity and The Obsidian Sanctum. Arena Season 5 started at the same time. The release came exactly one week after the realm's level cap rose to 80 on 10 January, following the pre-patch on 22 December 2025.
Onyxia launched as a Burning Crusade realm and progressed through every TBC tier, so its Wrath phase gave existing characters a shared, fresh start in Northrend without a reset. The realm continued on a roughly three-month cadence: Ulduar arrived on 4 April 2026, Trial of the Crusader on 4 July 2026 and Icecrown Citadel on 6 September 2026.
Warmane also concluded the Battlegroup 1 arena season on its other realms in early March and August 2026, and carried out an inactivity cleanup and gold squish across all realms on 16 February 2026.
