ChromieCraft releases Ulduar and starts Arena Season 6

ChromieCraft released Ulduar on Wednesday, 9 September 2026 at 17:00 UTC, and Arena Season 6 began at the same moment. Season 5 had closed after the morning restart on 26 August. The release was announced on 27 July, giving raiders six weeks to prepare.

Details

  • Ulduar in 10 and 25-player modes, including the hard-mode encounters
  • Arena Season 6 with Furious Gladiator gear
  • The Joyous Journeys experience buff active from 27 July to 21 September to help players level alts or catch up before Northrend content
  • The team asked players to report any Ulduar bugs found after release

About ChromieCraft

ChromieCraft is the progressive, PvE-oriented showcase server for the open-source AzerothCore project. It started at a low level cap years ago and has raised it patch by patch; players who began in Vanilla-era content are now raiding in Wrath of the Lich King, with every fix contributed back to the public codebase. Tracking sites list around 5,000 concurrent players and a Discord of more than 20,000 members.

Ulduar's release means ChromieCraft now offers Wrath's most celebrated raid at x1 rates on a fully open-source core, a milestone for a project that had spent much of 2025–26 finalising Naxxramas-era content.
