About ChromieCraft

ChromieCraft is an open-source WotLK (3.3.5a) PvE server run by the AzerothCore team. It releases content progressively through the Vanilla, TBC and WotLK eras with staggered level caps and raid tiers, without character wipes. The realm is now in Northrend Phase 3: Ulduar and Arena Season 6 opened on 9 September 2026, with the level 80 Onyxia's Lair coming next. Default XP is x2 up to level 80 and can be lowered to x1. There is no pay-to-win. Features include full cross-faction play, resized Vanilla raids, transmogrification, battleground quality-of-life changes, custom commands and Challenge Modes (Hardcore, Ironman and Bloodthirsty at x1 XP up to level 70, requiring a custom patch). Its main purpose is to contribute to AzerothCore.

It felt like back in the day, the mechanics are normal. Only halfway through TBC with 3 toons but it's been good and stable. Generally, groups are good... once got into TBC content people seemed more 'faceroll' demanding of their tanks. Might just be my experience as a SEA player but RDF seems a bit toxic to newbie tanks. However, I do love it
