About Private Server Hub
Private Server Hub is an independent catalogue of World of Warcraft private servers. It lists 89 servers, from Vanilla and The Burning Crusade to Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm and newer expansions: 65 active, 7 coming soon and 17 that have closed. Players rate the servers in reviews and vote every month for Small Server of the Month. We don't host or run any server, and we aren't affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment.
Who runs it
Private Server Hub is run by Tommy and has been online since February 2025. You can reach him at contact@privateserverhub.com or on our Discord.
How servers are ranked
Every active server gets a score out of 100. Player reviews count for 50%, estimated population for 35% and years online for 15%. Reviews are weighted so that a server with only a few of them stays close to the average of all servers. Upcoming and closed servers are listed separately and not ranked. The FAQ explains the score in more detail, and the best WoW private servers shows it at work.
No paid positions
No server can pay for a better position. There is no paid placement and no sponsored listing, and listing a server is free.
Where the numbers come from
Population figures are estimates from the servers and their communities, not exact counts. When a server's online counter includes bots, we show Unknown rather than an inflated number. Ratings come from player reviews, one per account and server, and every account has one vote a month for Small Server of the Month.
