How to play
Type a word with the right number of letters and press Enter. Real English words count, and so do WoW names like THRALL or KARAZHAN.
- Green: the letter is in the word, in that spot.
- Yellow: the letter is in the word, but somewhere else.
- Grey: the letter isn't in the word at all.
The category is there from the start. Get 3 guesses wrong and a clue shows up as well.
The fewer guesses you need, the better the loot: one guess is Legendary, six is Poor.
Everyone plays the same word, and a new one comes out at midnight UTC. You don't need an account: your results and streak are saved in this browser.
If you're signed in, every word you solve earns 1 Renown and counts for the leaderboard. Solve it 7 days in a row for the On a Roll achievement, and 30 days in a row to earn the title “the Wordsmith”.
When you're done, share your result. It shows only the colors, so it won't spoil the word for anyone.
