Age of Genesis, Reaper-WoW's new level 60 PvP realm, calls for alpha testers

Age of Genesis is an instant level 60 twink realm for PvP and PvE from Reaper-WoW, the team that also runs the level 255 realm Reaper 255 Fun. Reaper-WoW revealed it on its website on 13 September 2026. On 3 October the team asked players to sign up for a level 60 alpha playtest. The post said the playtest launches "this Friday" without giving a date, but the realm is already open: its armory lists level 60 characters played on 3 and 4 October.

Every character starts at level 60, and the realm is built around a level 60 meta with Wrath of the Lich King talents and class changes. It works on any plain 3.3.5a client: all changes are in the server core, so there is no patch to download. Reaper-WoW's launcher switches off all patches when you pick the level 60 realm.

What the realm offers

The reveal lists:

Starter gear: a full Dungeon Set 1, class weapons, rings and cloaks, starting gold, a mount and access to healing and mana potions
Gear from PvP: honorable kills unlock honor ranks, and each rank has a vendor with stronger gear. Rank 1 comes at 10 honorable kills and opens a blue PvP set
PvP tokens for honorable kills instead of killing blows, so healers and support players earn them too. Quests and other activities also give tokens
Cross-faction Warsong Gulch with PvP daily quests, an anti-graveyard system and rankings for kill streaks, flag captures and returns
Alterac Valley as an open-world PvP zone with quests and objectives. Every 2 hours a capture-the-flag event starts in the Field of Strife, announced server-wide 10 minutes before
A high-risk free-for-all arena in Gurubashi, where defeated players drop lootable reward chests
A duel zone with statistics, rankings and daily duel quests
A world boss in Hyjal that respawns about every 4 hours (still subject to tuning) and is part of the way to legendary weapons

The alpha playtest

The alpha includes the custom dueling arena, a hub with Warsong Gulch and an arena, honor ranks 1 to 14 with their own progression and items, the Alterac Valley zone with custom quests and NPCs, and the capture-the-flag event every 2 hours.

Alpha testers get:

A mount and a tabard reserved for alpha testers
An Alpha Playtester shirt
Their alpha character names reserved, with action bars and keybinds saved
