Corvus Nordica opens its invite-only Vanilla+ realm to everyone, for now

Corvus Nordica announced on 4 September 2026 that anyone can register. The realm normally needs an invite code from a current member, but that rule is suspended while the team extends "an open invitation to new players", and it says the codes will come back later. The server's uptime counter dates its first start to late April 2026.

Corvus Nordica is a non-profit realm built on AzerothCore with the Playerbot branch and hosted in Scandinavia. It runs the 3.3.5a client but keeps the content at the Classic level 60 endgame, and it is aimed at working adults, parents and other casual players.

How it plays

  • 1x experience, with rested XP that builds faster at inns and while logged out
  • Dungeons and raids scale for solo players and small groups. All Classic dungeons and raids are open except Naxxramas
  • Playerbots capped at level 55 with Classic gear can fill a group. They and the auction house bot will be phased out as the player base grows
  • Draenei and Blood Elves are playable, while Burning Crusade and Wrath content stays locked
  • No cash shop and no paid perks
  • The team plans to share its server-side and database fixes on GitHub

Since then

  • 7 September: "Boost masters" in all eight starting zones can take a character straight to level 50. The first boosted character on an account also gets 250 gold
  • 19 September: loot tables for every Naxxramas boss were done, and the team expected the raid to open within 14 days. It was still marked as coming soon on 4 October
  • 23 September: the server moved to new hardware
