Frostbound, a Spanish WotLK realm, lets your own alts fill the group as bots

Frostbound introduced itself on Reddit on 6 April 2026. It is a Spanish-language Wrath of the Lich King realm on the 3.3.5a client, built by one developer on AzerothCore with playerbots. Its own launch post is dated 30 March.

The idea is the Warband. Instead of waiting for a group, you make more characters on your account and summon them as bots that join your party in their roles. The MultiBot addon gives you buttons to order them to attack, heal, follow or hold position, and loot from a run can be traded to them, so you gear up all five at once. The system also covers 10- and 25-player raids.

At launch

• Rates of x7 experience, x3 drops, x3 reputation and x2 honour
• Mythic+ dungeons with five levels, weekly random affixes, a timer and a global ranking. Levels 1 and 2 reward Emblems of Triumph, levels 3 to 5 Emblems of Frost
• An auction house run by bots that buy and sell around the clock
• Full cross-faction play for groups, chat and guilds
• Instant mail, very fast flight paths, weapon skills that max out on their own, and dual spec for 10 gold from level 10
• Heirlooms from the start and mounts at level 10
• Guild houses, transmogrification in Orgrimmar, Stormwind and Dalaran, and a reagent bank

The developer promised a strict no pay-to-win policy. At launch the shop sold only cosmetic and quality-of-life items, and gear might be added if the community approved.

Since then

In April Frostbound added an experience rate from x1 to x7 that each player sets with a command, a roll for a reward every hour played, double loot from bosses so a whole warband can be geared, and a guide NPC in the starting zones and capitals. The shop now also sells a level 80 boost, 10,000 gold with four 36-slot bags, two professions raised to the maximum and packs of flasks and potions. A gear section is listed but switched off, and the site says the community will decide whether those items come to the server. On 23 September the developer wrote that the next big feature would be switching between characters without logging out.
