Hellgarve's core update fixes Illidan's loot, Mythic Argus and the solo queue

Hellgarve, the Legion 7.3.5 solocraft server, put a major core update live on 15 May 2026. The team upgraded parts of its database setup, moved the core to a much newer C++ version, encrypted the communication packets and removed old dependencies. It kept posting fix lists until 29 May.

Changes players will notice

  • Solocraft scaling is switched off in battlegrounds and arenas, and PvP talents load properly again
  • In Black Temple, the Supremus door, the Illidari Council and Illidan's loot credit are fixed. Illidan can be looted again and awards the achievement
  • Defeating Argus on Mythic now gives the Titanslayer title and its achievement, and a bug that reset the Argus encounter is fixed
  • The Nighthold talisman quest now opens the skip door near the raid entrance for each difficulty
  • The Dungeon Finder icon no longer gets stuck after a solo queue dungeon, and the group is kept until you leave after the last boss, so you keep your rewards and loot time
  • The custom transmog NPC accepts any armor type, even ones your class cannot wear
  • Druids can gather herbs in flight form, as long as they are on the ground
  • The level 100 and 110 boosts give the right gear. Boosted characters are sent to their capital and logged out once, so spells and items refresh
  • Signing up and logging in on the website needs only an e-mail address now, the same as the game login
  • Fixes for the Thalkiel's Consumption artifact skill with Solocraft, the shaman artifact quest "A Ring Unbroken", teleports between the Argus platforms, the Throne of the Four Winds platforms and a list of quests players reported

Many of the other entries are crash fixes. The full changelog is on Hellgarve's website and in the #changelogs channel of its Discord.

Hellgarve and SPP

In an April post the team called Stormrage "The Official SPP Partner". It says the realm has the same core content as the Single Player Project's Legion repack, but with updates ahead of schedule, exclusive fixes and support, and with nothing to host yourself. The claim comes from Hellgarve's own post.
