Hijos del Tiempo opens Iceplains, a hardcore WotLK realm where death is permanent

Hijos del Tiempo - Iceplains opened to the public on 18 April 2026. It is a Spanish-speaking hardcore realm on Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a, and the opening post spelled out what that means: once you die, your character stays a ghost. It can still talk, but it can’t interact with anyone, and it can’t be brought back.

An early test version of the realm had been running since 22 January 2026.

Rules and rates

• Experience x2, with professions, drops, gold and legendaries at x1
• Deaths caused by server faults can be reported. Staff check the logs and restore the character if the server was to blame
• The first 50 accounts got a free pack of three pets for a character of their choice
• The shop sells gold and a few other things that give an edge, but the team says it will never sell gear or potions

Who runs it

The team says it has run WoW servers under other names since 2014. Its launch post on Reddit was written in Spanish and English: the community speaks mainly Spanish, but everyone is welcome.
