Legion Plus opens its x7 Legion realm after a month’s delay

Legion Plus opened its Legion x7 realm on 6 September 2025 at 14:00 GMT. On 27 July the team had pushed the launch back by a month.
Launch features
- 7x experience
- All zones open from the start, including the Broken Shore and Argus
- Legendary drop rate tripled
- Artifact knowledge 55 from launch, with artifact power shared between specs and stackable
- Six new races added to the Legion client, five of them at launch. The team said Dracthyr was still being worked on.
- Wakening Essences from every raid, and legacy content working for transmog
- A shop that sells only cosmetics. "We will never sell power in our shop," the team wrote.
Raids and Mythic+
The release post promised The Emerald Nightmare and Trial of Valor on Normal and Heroic from the start, and Mythic a week later. On 13 September the team wrote that it had opened Mythic+ dungeons and the first raids "just a couple days ago". Raids on Legion Plus reset daily instead of weekly. The same post announced Outlaw Rogue changes on the live realm, such as Grappling Hook becoming a baseline ability at level 25.
Realm-first prizes
The first player of each class to reach 110 could choose 800 donator points or a custom mount. The first three raid groups to clear Mythic Emerald Nightmare were promised 300,000, 150,000 and 75,000 tokens, split among the raiders.
Later in 2025
On 26 October the team announced a cross-realm launch for 29 October, without saying which realm Legion Plus would connect to.
