Mythic Munchers opens its beta and promises no wipes

Mythic Munchers, a Shadowlands fun server built around huge numbers, opened its beta to everyone on 20 July 2025. In the post "Open beta is here!", its developer OLCADOOM made a few promises:

• No wipes, so you can grind without worrying about losing progress
• Closed beta players who finished the main Season 1 quests keep their progress up to the Shrine of the Storm area, and get rewards based on how much they tested and played
• Closed beta players also keep lifetime access to the development realm, to try new things before everyone else
• More Season 1 content in the following weeks, with Season 2 to come at the official launch

The developer calls the server a passion project, not a way to make money.

How to play

The usual way in is a miniclient that downloads the game as you play. A full client of about 80 GB is an option too, and it needs at least 170 GB of free space.
