Tirisgarde moves its custom TBC server to western Europe

Tirisgarde, a heavily customised Burning Crusade 2.4.3 server, moved to western Europe on 1 May 2025. The post followed "some small downtime" and asked players to update their realmlist to one of two new addresses:

• set realmlist za.tirisgarde.org
• set realmlist tbc.tirisgarde.org

It is still the newest post on the server’s site.

Earlier changes

• 1 April 2023: Azshara Crater, the level 70 starting area, opened to all players by default, so EV was no longer needed to get in. The EV shirt stayed available and got a buff to make up for it
• 15 February 2023: the team announced heroic custom raids, starting with Heroic Onyxia’s Lair, plus more bosses and loot in Blackwing Hold, new quests and infused items. The patch was expected later that week, and no later post confirms when it arrived

The server today

The realm shows as Zul’aman on the site, which went live in June 2017. In early October 2026 about 8 players were online, all at level 70, and the forum showed a database error.
