Uncapped opens an open beta for a WotLK server without stat caps

Uncapped opened its open beta on 31 July 2026. It is a Wrath of the Lich King server on the 3.3.5a client, built on AzerothCore around one idea, in the team's words: "take out the ceilings and see what the game turns into".
What makes it different
- Every number is 64-bit, so health, damage and healing can go past the old limit of about 2.1 billion
- Every kill adds permanent stats, up to 100 million each, and stats you don't want convert into others at 2:1
- Every 5-player dungeon and every raid can be run as Mythic+, with no upper key level and 15 affixes
- Haste becomes crit damage, and four new stats bought with Arena Points take over cooldowns, the global cooldown, cast time and attack speed
- Multicast fires your spells again for free
- Everything you loot, gather and fish goes into an account-wide vault, and the crafting window uses it directly
A beta with a wipe
The team is open about what a beta means here: bugs, downtime and restarts. All characters will be wiped at full launch, which has no date: "it happens when it's ready." Testers keep their account, their character names and a title only beta testers can get.
Nothing is for sale. Donations only help pay for hosting and, as the team puts it, "buy you literally nothing".
Uncapped has no website. Its launcher is unsigned, so Windows warns about it once, and the registration page linked in the beta post runs on a bare IP address without HTTPS, so use a password you don't use anywhere else.
