GeekServers - NostalGeek

NostalGeek is the Vanilla 1.12 realm of GeekServers, a French project that has kept it running without a wipe since 17 June 2009; the team calls it the oldest Vanilla server still alive. Rates are blizzlike (x1), and the realm adds its own systems: hardmode dungeons and raids with new mechanics and better loot, a ranked battleground ladder that gates Rank 12 to 14 gear, cross-faction battlegrounds that can be joined from anywhere, and arenas with solo and team queues that use arena-only gear. Hardcore challenges, daily PvE and PvP quests, dual specialization, transmogrification, Chronoboon for saving world buffs, soulbound loot trading, achievements, speedrun timers and combat logs on the website round out the realm. The community is French, and the website and game client are also offered in English. GeekServers also runs the TBC realm TheGeekCrusade and lists GlobalGeek, a fresh Vanilla 1.12 Enhanced realm first announced in 2022, as coming soon. The site says the network is not pay-to-win, but the GeekShop sells gold, level boosts and x2 XP boosts as well as mounts, pets, a dual-spec item and character services.
