MimicWoW is a free Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a realm that opened in October 2026, and the bots are what set it apart. The team says 600 of them play around the clock, leveling, running dungeons and raids and queueing for battlegrounds, so a queue for anything pops almost at once. You can hire a full party or a 10-player raid team of bots for free, or put a group together from your own alts and bots and give each one a role. According to the team, bot groups can clear most content up to Icecrown Citadel, though they don't handle every boss mechanic, and that many bots do make the chat busy. You pick your experience rate, x0.5, x1 or x2, or start at level 60, 70 or 80 right away. Any race can play any class, so a Tauren Rogue or a Gnome Hunter is fine. The custom content is about mimics. 100 Mimic Chests are hidden across Azeroth, Outland and Northrend and give Legend Tokens, and every week the Great Mimic, a world boss, hides as one of them. Mimic Keystones are timed dungeons with affixes in the style of Mythic+. There is also a hardcore mode with one life, guild levels and perks, daily bounties and weekly events, custom quests and companions, heirloom sets, reskinned mounts and pets, and every mount in the game for sale in Dalaran, priced by rarity. The team takes no money at all, with no shop and no donations, and everything in the game is earned by playing. A vote for the realm every 12 hours mails a Mimic Token to your character, and tokens trade for gold, character services and Legend Tokens. The armory on the website leaves the bots out and shows only human characters, with leaderboards for chests found, keystones, hardcore runs and guild levels. Wow.exe stays untouched, because every change comes as a patch file. You can download the full client (18 GB) or the HD client (about 24 GB), or add the patches to your own 3.3.5a client, since without them custom items show up as red question marks. The team's own Windows launcher keeps patches and addons up to date, but Windows Defender may flag it while it is new, which the team calls a false positive.
