Stonetavern

Stonetavern is a free, non-commercial Vanilla 1.12.1 server hosted in the EU, with two x1 realms on one account: Elwynn and the progressive Barrens. Elwynn is a PvE realm that runs World of Warcraft 1.12 as it shipped, with no custom content. It opened in June 2026, the team runs it as a permanent realm without wipes, and its raids open one at a time, from Molten Core through Naxxramas. Barrens starts in Classic and later moves on to The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King, and the level cap and new content open for the whole realm at the same time, so players who start late still find others to level with. Barrens is cross-faction, so Horde and Alliance share groups, chat, the auction house and mail, and it runs on a cycle of three days of PvE followed by three days of open-world PvP. Rates are x1 on both realms, and there is no shop. Suspected bots are flagged automatically, but a person makes every ban. The community speaks English, and the website is also available in German, French, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Portuguese and Romanian. The team does not publish a player count because it changes from day to day, and the website shows live realm status instead.
