Way of Elendil

Way of Elendil is a French-language Wrath of the Lich King server on the 3.3.5a client, run by a non-profit association and active since 2006. It aims for Blizzlike play on a single 'open war' (PvP) realm with rates between x1 and x3, although the site describes its balance as roughly 85% PvE and 15% PvP. Guilds, raids and dungeons can be run cross-faction, Alliance and Horde share battlegrounds and one auction house, and arena seasons last about six months at the Season 8 gear level, with an NPC for spectating matches. Players can level from 1 to 80 or recover a level 80 character from retail or another private server within 48 hours. Other features include transmogrification paid with an in-game currency, a recruit-a-friend experience bonus up to level 60, an optional HD client with Legion textures, and the team's own database, wiki and armory. The website, community and support are in French. According to the site, the shop, paid in Woellars, sells only cosmetics.
