Aethro: Reforged makes Worgen and Goblins playable with every class

Aethro: Reforged, a WotLK+ realm built around PlayerBots, released client v3.0 on 27 September 2026.

What's new

• Worgen and Goblins are now playable, and both can be any class, from Goblin Druids to Worgen Paladins
• A new login screen and a redesigned character creation screen
• Client changes that prepare for more custom systems
• Together with Aethro's Any Race, Any Class and Allegiance systems, a character's race no longer decides its faction or its class
• Player housing is in development, and its early foundations are already on the server

Players need the new client to see the new races correctly.

Aethro: Reforged runs on the 3.3.5a client with about 2,000 PlayerBots alongside real players, and its online counter includes the bots.
