Draevor Project opens its Warlords of Draenor test realm

Draevor Project, a Warlords of Draenor server in development, opened its test realm on 26 September 2026. "The PTR is officially live!" the team wrote, asking testers to report bugs on the website's bug tracker, quest bugs above all. The realm runs on the 6.2.3 client.
A day earlier, on Reddit, the team set the limits for this first round: Horde only, "a maximum of 5 testers", and every character starting at level 90.
Patch notes before the test
The test followed patch notes posted on 19 September. After two weeks of testing across all seven Draenor zones, they list more than 290 fixes:
- A bug in the server's dialogue system was behind many "I can't talk to this NPC" reports, and it is fixed everywhere at once
- The Alliance intro scenario in Tanaan Jungle, Kargathar Proving Grounds, was missing its core data. It was rebuilt from scratch, with 400 NPCs restored
- 33 quests in Nagrand had no way to be turned in, and 16 in Gorgrond were missing their start link
- The first pet battle trainers and the Proving Grounds arena are in
Faster testing
Later on 26 September the team made testing quicker:
- Flight paths take you straight to your destination
- Hearthstone and Garrison Hearthstone cooldowns are 60 seconds
- A .ptr helper, visible only to you, gives 5,000 gold and 5,000 Garrison Resources once an hour, unlocks Draenor flying, maxes the professions you know, takes you to your garrison, unsticks you and resets instance locks
Fixes kept coming. The Tanaan Jungle quest Kill Your Hundred now starts at 90 of 100 kills (26 September), and an update on 28 September fixed 13 quests in Frostfire Ridge, Gorgrond, the Blasted Lands and the garrison. The team has also started work on a Garrison mobile app for managing followers and missions. No launch date has been announced.
