LunaticPTR's September: a Brawler's Guild, ranked PvP gear and cross-faction battlegrounds

LunaticPTR, the server where every character stays at level 1, has patched every Tuesday since early August. Here is what its five September patches changed.

The Brawler's Guild

On 1 September an arena announcer, Mik Buffler, arrived in Gadgetzan. Mik Buffler announces fights in The Cage, where players can bet on the outcome, and hosts a Brawler's Guild, a series of fights to test your skills. From 8 September the fights give Steamwheedle Blood Ring reputation, and on 15 September a quartermaster arrived with 26 rewards for it. The 29 September patch added an introduction quest in Redwall Keep.

Ranked PvP

• 8 September: 96 PvP items for honor ranks 7 to 10, sold by Sigur Wyrmbane in the Champions' Hall and Hilde Valkir in the Halls of Legend. Rank 7 gloves have use effects that work only in battlegrounds
• 8 September: Focused Assault in Warsong Gulch, once a flag has been held for three minutes
• 29 September: cross-faction Warsong Gulch, Arathi Basin and Thorn Gorge, and reworked PvP dampening. Everyone takes 20% less healing in PvP and gets 33% pushback resistance on spells that aren't heals, and Rogues and Hunters lose dodge, capped at 60%

Smaller additions

• A new Mage class quest and Wanted Board quests outside Redwall Keep (22 September)
• Dispatch Commander Metz at Light's Hope Chapel now sells all 24 Craftsman's Writs (22 September)
• Mages can learn Frostbolt Rank 1 from Hailar's Frozen Core in Frostmane Hollow (29 September)

No date has been announced for Phase 2.
