Microbot WoW adds tank assignments, paid raid resets and a flight path contract

Microbot WoW spent August and early September 2026 on raids. The changelog of the Vanilla 1.12.1 server, where you raid with hired AI companions, runs from 4 August to 5 September.
Raid loot and reset costs
- 4 August: more loot from Molten Core bosses, a loot window that pages through more than 16 items, loot sorted by quality, and a fix for Ragnaros despawning too quickly
- 5 August: more loot from Blackwing Lair bosses. A rule that stopped players from sharing gold was removed. The developer wrote that it made little difference at low player counts and created inflation at high ones
- 25 August: players pay gold to reset raid lockouts. The baseline costs are 400 gold for Molten Core, 500 for Blackwing Lair, 600 for Ahn’Qiraj and 700 for Naxxramas, and raid gold income was adjusted to match
Tank assignments
On 27 August the Companions Control Panel got a tank list. You set who tanks and in what order with .z tank add, .z tank remove and .z tank clear, or by whispering "set tank" to a companion. Slot 1 is the main tank and the rest are off-tanks. The list holds up to 20 names, "plenty for the eight tanks Four Horsemen needs", and Lucifron was the first boss to use it. Raid reset times were added to the lockout panel on 31 August.
Also new
- 8 August: quest chains for new totems, idols and librams, started by Cairne Bloodhoof, Highlord Bolvar Fordragon and Keeper Remulos
- 3 September: an Azeroth Scouting Contract, sold at Aerie Peak in the Hinterlands, teaches all flight paths for your faction
- 4 September: companion logic for Molten Core
The Burning Crusade
Microbot’s site lists a TBC 2.4.3 realm as in development, with no date. The transfer rules are already written: a level 60 character can move once, the move can’t be undone, and the character needs the top raid license, T5R, which comes from killing Kel’Thuzad. Wrath of the Lich King is planned.
