Old Man Warcraft adds 25 guild levels, territory wars and adjustable XP rates

Old Man Warcraft added a guild level system in early May 2026. Its post of 3 May described it as new.
Guild levels
Guilds earn experience when members level, finish quests, explore and get honorable kills, and they climb through 25 guild levels. The server calls the perks Cataclysm-inspired: faster reputation and honor gains, better profession momentum, reduced durability loss on death and improved mounted travel. Higher-level guilds can access Cash Flow deposits into the guild bank, Mobile Banking and Mass Resurrection.
Guild wars over zones
Guilds can buy contested zones and hold them through taxes and activity. A rival guild can declare war over a zone, which starts open-world free-for-all fights where kills, timers and defence decide who keeps it.
Rates you choose
By 23 May the fixed 1.5x rate was gone. Players start at 1x and can switch to 2x or 3x, and VIP accounts can go up to 4x or 5x. Eligible streamers get extra XP while they broadcast.
Advertised since April
- The Goblin Bank lends gold with interest and daily or weekly repayments. A player who defaults gets "Bad Credit": slower run speed, an XP penalty and loot restrictions until the debt is paid
- The Old Man Assistant addon is an in-game AI that answers questions from the server’s documentation and item database
