Project Rx ports the GOMove building addon to AzerothCore and publishes the code

Project Rx, the all-GM roleplay server for 3.3.5a, showed its object browser on Reddit on 17 April 2026. It is built on GOMove, Rochet2's addon for placing game objects in the world, which the team ported to AzerothCore and extended. The browser searches every game object on the server, custom patches included, and spawns the one you pick.

The addon and the server code it needs went up on GitHub as GOMove-Azerothcore, under the GNU GPL v2. What it does:

  • Spawn, move, delete and scale game objects in game
  • Search objects by name or entry ID, with a 3D model preview
  • Nudge objects by compass direction, axis or rotation
  • Select nearby objects, or all of them within a radius
  • Move objects between phases
  • Keep a list of favourites between sessions

The post also said why the team shares its work: "It's become more apparent than ever that Blizzard is wanting to shut down any server that gets within their crosshairs. In a conservative manner I urge a lot of servers out there to try make stuff that you think people will enjoy public." The rest of the server's code, it added, would be made public if Project Rx ever got a DMCA notice.
