Shatterspear launches a progressive 3.3.5a PvE realm with bots for hire

Shatterspear opened on 1 June 2024, and its team introduced it on Reddit eleven days later. It is a progressive PvE server on the 3.3.5a client that started in Vanilla with a level cap of 60, with The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King to be unlocked as the community progresses.

What it offered at launch

• NPC bots: you can hire up to four that join you in the open world, in dungeons and in raids
• 2x experience, and faster in practice, because bots do not cut the experience you get
• 4x profession skill gains and 1x loot
• All professions on one character
• A cross-faction auction house, and both factions can group, trade and join the same guilds
• Shatterspear Village, a hub that puts the useful vendors and services in one place

Where it is now

Shatterspear has since moved on to The Burning Crusade, with a level cap of 70. The team has not said when that happened. Its website says Wrath of the Lich King comes next, with no date, and that it will most likely depend on how the community progresses. On 4 October 2026 the realm was online and the Discord had about 240 members.
