About Shatterspear

Shatterspear is a progressive PvE server on the 3.3.5a client, open since 1 June 2024. It began in Vanilla with a level cap of 60 and has since moved on to The Burning Crusade, where the cap is 70. Wrath of the Lich King comes next, with no date yet: the team says that depends on how the community progresses. The main feature is the bot system. You can hire up to four NPC bots that join you in the open world, dungeons and raids, so a small group or a single player can see all of the content. Experience is 2x, profession skill gains 4x and loot 1x. Grouping with bots costs no experience, so a dungeon run gives as much experience as soloing its elites, and levelling ends up faster than 2x. Every profession can be learned on one character. Alliance and Horde share the auction house and can group, trade and join the same guilds. The website has no shop or donation page, and the server does not publish a player count.
