StormGarde opens a new website with a level 90 offer for new players

StormGarde launched a redesigned website on 5 April 2026. The Mists of Pandaria 5.4.8 server says the new site makes realm statistics and news quicker to reach.

For new players

The same day StormGarde announced a new player offer: a level 90 boost with starter gear, so new players can go straight to endgame content. On 6 April the site added two-factor authentication for accounts.

Patch 1.0 and Battle Pets

StormGarde’s April 2026 changelog lists a complete rework of the Battle Pet system:

• Wild pets behave closer to the original game, including encounters with several pets
• All pet abilities work, and the capture chance rises with each attempt
• Most Battle Pet quests and tamers are fixed, including the Julia, the Pet Tamer chain
• A matchmaking queue for Battle Pet PvP, pet duels between players and a 30-second turn timer

The changelog also fixed class spells, cleaned up creature spawns in Duskwood, fixed the Naralex event in Wailing Caverns and improved translations into German, French, Chinese and other languages.

About the server

StormGarde was founded on 22 February 2020 and runs one realm, Wildhammer, with 5x experience and 3x reputation, honor and conquest, gold and professions. Playerbots can join dungeons, raids, scenarios, battlegrounds and arenas.
