StormGarde’s Patch 2 reworks its playerbots and creature scaling

StormGarde published the changelog for Patch 2 on 4 June 2026. The patch has two themes: playerbots and creature stats.
Playerbots
- Bots handle battleground objectives in a new way, with better choices when capturing, defending and carrying them
- They pick better targets in arenas and gear up better for PvP
- The changes cover Warsong Gulch, Twin Peaks, Arathi Basin, Battle for Gilneas, Deepwind Gorge, Eye of the Storm, Temple of Kotmogu, Silvershard Mines and Alterac Valley
- Movement was reworked to look more like a real player, with movement while casting, better pathing and class movement abilities
- Players can now see their bots’ targets
Creature scaling
A balancing pass changed creature melee and ranged damage, attack speed, attack power and health, with scaling by rank and level. It covers zones in the Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, Outland, Northrend and the Cataclysm areas, the starting zones and capital cities, dungeons from Ragefire Chasm to Hour of Twilight and raids from Molten Core to Firelands. Pandaria’s own zones, dungeons and raids aren’t on the list. Over 500 NPCs also got weapons and equipment they were missing.
Earlier in May
On 6 May StormGarde started offering free faction changes from Alliance to Horde. Characters keep their progress and gear, and players apply by e-mail or on Discord.
