Tanados WoW adds player-owned AltBots, bot arena teams and Mythic+

Tanados WoW posted Version 18 on 10 May 2026, its first big public changelog of the year. The server is a heavily modified Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a realm in playable alpha, built on AzerothCore with Dinkledork’s repack.

AltBots

  • A new AltBot system, separate from the older NPCBots
  • AltBots belong to a player and stay in their roster as persistent companions
  • They work in dungeons, raids, the dungeon finder, battlegrounds and arenas

Bots in PvP

  • 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5 arenas accept teams of real players, owned AltBots, owned NPCBots or any mix of them, but at least one real player is required
  • A new arena AI picks targets, heals, peels for teammates and spaces out defensive cooldowns
  • Owned bots now follow their owner into battlegrounds and join the right team

Mythic+ and the website

The changelog adds a Mythic Plus module as a major PvE system. The website gained Boss Kills, Raid Ladder and Bug Report pages.

Much of the rest is repair work: bots left on the wrong map or instance after a teleport, arena queues that hung, and fixes for Thaddius and the Four Horsemen in Naxxramas.
