Tanados WoW starts a monthly treasure hunt, and Zeizar wins the first season

Tanados WoW launched the Treasure Hunter League on 15 July 2026. Inconspicuous Chests are hidden around the world, and every eligible chest you open adds to an account-wide score for the monthly season.

Scoring and prizes

• 10 points for each unique chest and 5 for reaching a new zone, plus bonus points in a featured zone each month
• 100, 60 and 35 vote points for the top three. First place also gets the title Master Treasure Hunter
• The Champion’s Rule: last month’s winner can’t take first prize again in the next season, so the prize passes to the next hunter
• Permanent milestones at 50 and 250 chests
• At least 25 points to qualify for a reward

The first season

The inaugural season ran from 15 July to 1 August 2026. Eight hunters found 84 unique chests between them. The top three:

• Zeizar, 405 points and 37 chests
• Warthena, 300 points
• Sylian, 95 points

In early October the standings page still showed the July season, with no later season listed.
