TBC5LEGENDS opens Mount Hyjal on 17 October and Black Temple a week later

TBC5LEGENDS has set the dates for Tier 6. Countdowns on its homepage open Mount Hyjal on Saturday, 17 October 2026 and Black Temple on Saturday, 24 October 2026, both at 18:00 German time (16:00 UTC). As with every raid on the server, both are rebuilt for a group of five.
How the realm got here
- 18 July: launch, with Karazhan, Gruul's Lair and Magtheridon's Lair retuned for five players
- 5 September: Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep (Tier 5)
- 11 to 13 September: Tier 4 raids opened to groups of up to 10 or 15
- 15 to 18 September: Legends mode for Tier 5 and a Dungeon Finder
- 21 September: a Shaman tank and 14 new Ancestral Runes
A Shaman that tanks
The 21 September patch brought the Rune of the Way of Earth, a tanking role Blizzard made for Shamans in Season of Discovery. The rune needs 41 points in Enhancement and lets a Shaman wear plate, taunt with Earth Shock and use Molten Blast. In an update on 21 and 22 September the team also switched off two world bosses, the Tempest and the Champion of the Old World, which can be switched back on at any time.
Zul'Aman and the Sunwell Plateau have no dates yet.
The realm is small. On 4 October its stats page put the average number of players online at 19 over the past week, with a typical daily peak of 48. Over the past four weeks, an average of 374 accounts played each week. Tier 5 raids have been cleared 339 times so far.
