TBC5LEGENDS opens Tier 5 for groups of five and adds a harder Legends mode

TBC5LEGENDS opened Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep on 5 September 2026, seven weeks after launch. Like every raid on the server, both are retuned for a group of five.
What changed with Tier 5
- Tier 5 raids reset every three days, Tier 4 every two
- Challenge Stones: one per boss kill, rolled by the group
- Area-of-effect spells can now critically strike
- Lady Vashj's curse can be dispelled
The first kills came on the opening weekend. The server's kill log shows Lady Vashj dying on 5 September and Kael'thas Sunstrider on 6 September, both to five-player groups in Challenge mode.
A week later the Tier 4 raids started taking bigger groups: up to 10 players in Karazhan and up to 15 in Gruul's Lair and Magtheridon's Lair, with boss health following the headcount.
Legends mode
Between 15 and 18 September the team added Legends mode to both Tier 5 raids: five players at most, hidden lockouts, and a wipe exiles the group. Two tabards drop only there, the Tabard of the Sea Witch from Lady Vashj and the Tabard of the Sun King from Kael'thas. The same update switched on a Dungeon Finder for the realm.
