Unlimited-WoW releases Tier 16, a Secrets of Ulduar solo raid with four new world bosses

Unlimited-WoW, the level 255 WotLK funserver, released Tier 16, Secrets of Ulduar, on 27 March 2026. It is a solo raid with five bosses, and the staff scaled the layout down to keep the huge zone manageable. The attunement quest had been available from the Key Quest NPC in the Mall since the tier was announced on 18 March.

What came with it

• Four new world bosses, each with its own quests: Ignis the Furnace Master, Auriaya, General Vezax and Algalon the Observer. Two are in PvP zones, and if you die there you are teleported to a safe spot
• Six new visuals, four of them unique drops from the new world bosses
• A new area, the Ruins of Alterac, with PvP enabled and four solo quests
• Daily quests split between three NPCs, for world bosses, raids and solo play. Raid dailies now reward Tier 16.5 medallions
• Tier 16.5 Heroic quests from day one, while Tier 15 quest requirements dropped by 25%
• New Alterac Valley quests, Battle for Frostwolf and Battle for Stormpike
• Honor and Arena Points were reset, and the PvP vendors need the Tier 16 attunement
• Donor and VIP gear got a stat boost, as it does with every new tier
• Using your hearthstone now spawns a Mini Teleporter, and Resurrection Sickness is gone

Unlimited-WoW reset its tier numbers in December 2023, when the staff removed raids so that 13 were left instead of 26. This Tier 16 has nothing to do with the old Tier 16, The Nexus, from 2018.
