ChromieCraft locks the level 60 Onyxia's Lair on 21 October

ChromieCraft, the progressive AzerothCore server, is replacing its level 60 Onyxia's Lair with the level 80 version from Wrath of the Lich King. The team announced it in Dev Diary #16 on 2 October 2026.

Dates

• 21 October: the level 60 Onyxia's Lair is locked and can no longer be entered
• 28 October: achievements tied to the level 60 version are removed
• 28 October: the first Random Heroic Dungeon of the day gives 2 Emblems of Conquest instead of 1
• The level 80 Onyxia's Lair has no release date yet

Anyone with unfinished business with the old broodmother has until 21 October.

After Ulduar

ChromieCraft opened Ulduar on 9 September. Before that release the team closed 182 Ulduar bug reports, and more fixes followed in the weeks after.

About three raids are left in the server's progression, and the team says it won't rush them. Some players have asked for updated Emblem rewards and faster raid releases, but ChromieCraft would rather give each release time to be played properly and keep a steady schedule.
