Helix-WoW

Helix-WoW is a German Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a server run by the Helix Network team, with x5 rates for experience and professions and x3 for gold. The team calls it Blizzlike x5, but it brings a lot over from modern World of Warcraft. Fifteen new races join the original ten, all with models from the current game. The Alliance gets Worgen, Void Elves, Lightforged Draenei, Dark Iron Dwarves, Kul Tirans and Mechagnomes, and the Horde gets Goblins, Nightborne, Highmountain Tauren, Mag'har Orcs, Zandalari Trolls and Vulpera. Pandaren, Dracthyr and Earthen are neutral and pick a faction at character creation, and the Dracthyr play the Evoker, a class Wrath never had. Each race has its own starting zones. Character creation and the character select screen were rebuilt in the style of modern WoW, and the HD textures and reworked models are optional, with a switch in the launcher. A transmog NPC, the Warpweaver in Dalaran, arrived on 7 October. The team has raised the item level cap to 350 to make room for new gear sets, and it has announced a new capital called City of Karma, new zones, raids, five-player dungeons, Mythic+ and quests, all without dates. Character and guild transfers from other servers are its top priority. Helix went into open alpha in October 2026, and the team warns that bugs remain and some racial traits are still missing. The team says there are no playerbots or AI companions on the realm. The shop sells VIP, transmog, toys and services for Helix Coins. You can buy coins through Stripe, from 100 coins for 5 euros to 2,750 for 100 euros, or get them from the team for events and bug reports. Character boosts are planned for the shop, with gear sets up to Ulduar level and up to 7,000 gold. To play, you create an account on the website and download the Helix launcher, which installs the whole client and keeps it updated. The website and forum are in German with an English option, and the Discord isn't open yet.
