Project Reforged

Project Reforged is a Classic+ project in closed beta on the Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a client. The team wants to keep the feel of classic WoW while adding new zones, playable races, race and class combinations, quests, items, professions and custom systems. There are 18 playable races. On top of the ten standard ones, the Alliance gets Tuskarr, High Elves, Worgen and Furbolg, and the Horde gets Naga, Ogres, Goblins and Broken. Some of the new and expanded zones are adapted from or inspired by areas on Project Ascension and Turtle WoW, reworked to fit the server’s own progression and balance. The team names Project Ascension, Project Epoch and Turtle WoW as inspirations and says it does not want a copy of any of them. The website lists one realm, Bronzebeard, with x1 rates. In September 2026 the team was looking for more closed beta testers, and in early October it posted news about recruiting for the team. On 18 October 2026 the team announced that it plans to launch on 6 November 2026, after more stress tests. The Discord had 89 members in October 2026.
