Tirisgarde - Wrathstorm

Wrathstorm is a new progressive PvP realm for Wrath of the Lich King on the 3.3.5a client. It comes from the team behind Tirisgarde, a custom Burning Crusade server that has been running since 2017, and some of them helped develop and staff World Of Chris back in the TBC days. Testing opened to everyone on 22 October 2026, and test characters will be wiped before launch. The team has not announced a launch date or a content schedule yet, only that the public realm will unlock content progressively. Rates are 2x for experience, gold, item drops, reputation, profession skill gains and gathering yields, and there are no cross-faction features. During testing an NPC gives instant level 80 for group content, and players can try dungeons, raids, battlegrounds, the collection and transmog interface, guilds, trading and dungeon matchmaking. A Dungeon Finder that groups players without teleporting them to the dungeon is planned. The team says its policy is no pay to win, and the current plan for the shop is mounts, collectibles and toys that cannot be obtained otherwise. Boosts or catch-up options might come after the first progression milestones, but none are confirmed for launch. The Tirisgarde website only covers the Burning Crusade realm so far, so the realmlist and testing details are on the Tirisgarde Discord, which had about 1,140 members in October 2026. You need your own 3.3.5a client.
