AmdWoW opens Durnhold Keep, the Well of the Forgotten and a custom Arathi Basin

AmdWoW marked four phases of its roadmap as done on 26 March 2026:

• Durnhold Keep is now an open PvP and PvE area with bosses and custom item drops
• Well of the Forgotten, the graveyard crypt behind Karazhan, has custom bosses and new items
• A custom Arathi Basin map brings new bosses and items. It needs a custom patch
• Mirage Raceway hosts a custom flag capture battle

The roadmap doesn’t give a release date for each phase.

The developer’s pitch

A day earlier the developer introduced the server on Reddit. AmdWoW is an instant 80 server, the post said, but it tries to avoid the usual "log in → full gear → bored in 30 minutes" situation. Players start in a mall with free starter gear, do Outland quests for gold and silver tokens to buy better gear, farm weapons and shields in the Well of the Forgotten and move on to Durnhold Keep for higher tiers. A City War system adds world PvP over cities. "It’s not a massive server, but it’s active," the developer wrote.

Other March additions

• 16 March: VIP 1 can be earned for free with vote points
• 20 March: a Refer-a-Friend system pays 20 Premium Crystals to the recruiter and 10 to the new player
