AmdWoW is a custom Wrath of the Lich King fun server on the 3.3.5a client. It reopened in February 2026, and the team says the original AmdWoW dates back to 2006. According to the site, characters start at level 80 at the Dark Portal with free starter gear, and item base stats are doubled. Gear comes in tiers: medal quests below the Dark Portal, then the Well of the Forgotten behind Karazhan, then the bosses of Durnhold Keep, then a reworked Arathi Basin that needs the server’s custom patch. Since April 2026 the Leveling Road also takes characters from level 1 to 80 through 16 waves of enemies. For PvP there is City War, where a faction fights for the flag in Ironforge or Orgrimmar, and a flag battle at Mirage Raceway. Transmogrification, a teleporter and multi-trainers and vendors are in. The realm is small: the site counted a peak of eight players online in the week to 4 October 2026. Premium crystals, bought with real money, pay for VIP levels 1 to 6, which raise drop, experience and reputation rates, add talent points and unlock VIP items. The shop also sells VIP vendor currency, a level 80 boost, XP boosts, Titan’s Grip, Dual Wield, gear boxes, mounts and character services, some also for vote crystals. The team says VIP 1 can be earned with votes. The community speaks English.
