Eternal Gaming opens Valyndor, a blizzlike WotLK realm that starts at Ulduar

Eternal Gaming launched its first realm, Valyndor, on the evening of 28 December 2025. It is a blizzlike Wrath of the Lich King realm on the 3.3.5a client, and it starts in Phase 2: Ulduar (Tier 8, item level 226) is open from day one, along with Arena Season 5 up to Deadly Gladiator.

The developer, ccrs, announced the project in October with the words "I'm ccrs, an old timer TrinityCore developer" and a simple goal: a "bread & butter" 3.3.5 server, "nothing fancy, blizzlike with OPTIONAL quality-of-life changes". The website and account registration opened on 19 October.

What Valyndor promises

• x1 rates at launch. Once the realm firsts are taken, each player can pick a faster rate
• A PvE realm, with PvP optional
• Extras such as AoE looting that each player can switch on or leave off
• No donations, no shop and no pay-to-win
• A TrinityCore-based core, with the code open source
