Everlook WoW to shut down EU servers on 22 September at Blizzard's request

The Vanilla WoW private server Everlook is shutting down. In a message posted by Neto, the team confirmed that Blizzard Entertainment had recently contacted them and asked them to close the servers for violating copyright.

The Everlook EU servers will go offline at 5am on Monday 22 September 2025, and the team has invited players to log in that day to say goodbye.

The announcement says the team's goal was always to deliver the original Vanilla WoW experience. It argues that this request, together with Blizzard's other recent moves, shows the company is once again unwilling to accept that many people want a World of Warcraft experience it has failed to deliver.

The message ends with the hope that Blizzard will one day work with the private server community, and thanks everyone who has been part of Everlook's community over the last three years.
