Sirus opens a public test of Sirus Reborn, a 64-bit client with a Monk class

Sirus, the big Russian WotLK+ network, opened a public test of Sirus Reborn on 21 October 2026. Reborn is Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5 on a newer game client, with 64-bit and DirectX 11 support, better graphics and new visual effects. It also brings a new class, the Monk, which players can already try on the test server. Sirus says it will explain the class in a separate post.
A test server, not a fresh realm
Players had been asking for a fresh realm and for news on the new client, and Sirus decided an open beta was the best answer. The server runs the current build, which is far from a release version, and Sirus stresses that it isn't a new game world. Once the client is ready it will run on every Sirus realm. The team adds that it isn't only porting WotLK but more than ten years of its own custom content.
- Accounts with loyalty level 30 or higher got in on 21 October, level 20 and higher on 22 October, and every account from 23 October
- The Reborn client downloads by torrent from a new "Reborn (Open Beta)" section in the settings of launcher version 2.0.24. It goes into its own folder and doesn't touch the main client
- Once it's downloaded you start the beta from the .exe in the game folder, and a new forum section collects feedback
A new PvP season on 26 October
The next PvP season runs from 26 October 2026 to 17 January 2027. It starts some time during the day on 26 October, not at midnight.
- On Soulseeker x1 honor and arena points turn into gold, at 2 silver per honor point and 50 silver per arena point. Everyone keeps one minimum weekly cap, 261 arena points and 1,044 honor points
- Soulseeker x1 also deletes nine items for good, among them the gladiator seals from strategic pack deliveries and the Battle Pass chests, and their loss won't be compensated. On Sirus x5 and Neverest x3 nothing is converted or deleted, and currency tokens there run out on their own timers
- Soulseeker x1 gets a new tier of gladiator PvP gear, which Sirus labels a12
- Every realm gets a new arena, the Crucible of Secrets, and there's a new Battle Pass
