Felborne, now Starfall, announces a custom Mythic+ system with keys up to +15

Starfall, then still called Felborne, announced its own Mythic+ system on 5 May 2026 and said it would go live on 9 May on the Emberstorm realm, now called Dusk. The team built it for this Cataclysm 4.3.4 project, and the announcement calls it "tailor made down to the smallest detail".
Keys and affixes
- Keys run from +2 to +15, and each key belongs to one dungeon. Eight are in rotation: Throne of the Tides, Lost City of the Tol'vir, Grim Batol, Vortex Pinnacle, The Stonecore, Blackrock Caverns, Halls of Origination and Shadowfang Keep
- A timed run raises the key by +3 if the group beat the timer by 40% or more, by +2 at 20% and by +1 otherwise. A key finished over time goes down, but never below +2
- A key can be rerolled to another dungeon at the same level, or lowered a limited number of times
- Every death adds 5 seconds. The group also has to reach a trash quota and kill every required boss. M0, with no timer, no affixes and no key used up, is a practice mode
- Affixes change weekly and are the same for the whole server. The first comes in at +2, the second at +5 and the third at +10, each from a pool of five. Next to Fortified, Tyrannical and Necrotic there are custom ones such as Arcane Echo, Void Rift, Tyrael's Judgement and one called Starfall, the name the server took in September
Rewards
Loot drops in 20% of runs at the lowest keys. The chance rises with the key level, a timed run adds 10% and the cap is 60%, and only items for the player's class and spec drop. Every run also pays upgrade tokens that take an item through five upgrade levels, and the Weekly Cache unlocks a slot after 1, 4 and 10 timed runs. A season rating built from the best run in each dungeon sorts players into colour tiers from grey to orange. The team's MythicPlusUI addon shows the timer and affixes during a run and has a server-wide group finder.
Five months later
The first run on the Mythic+ leaderboard on the Starfall website is from 12 May. By 4 October it listed 149 runs by 58 players. That day Capella, Scp, Gigelrotha, Shamanz and Danshia ran Lost City of the Tol'vir four times in a row, at +11, +13, +14 and +15, and timed the leaderboard's first +15 in 25 minutes 21 seconds of the 33 allowed.
