Guild Anxiety wins 100,000 roubles for the first Lich King kill on Sirus's Neverest x3

Sirus, the largest Russian WotLK+ network, opened Icecrown Citadel in Normal difficulty on its Neverest x3 realm on 17 September 2026 at 18:00 Moscow time (15:00 UTC). Sirus had put up a prize of 100,000 roubles per raid group for the first 25-player Lich King kill.
The race
- On 19 September Sirus congratulated guild Anxiety, the first on the realm to defeat the Lich King in 25-player Normal, two days after the raid opened
- The prize can be paid out in money or claimed in Sirus's bonus currency with a premium on top
- With the race over, Sirus nerfed the raid on 24 September: in 10-player mode all creatures lost 20% of their health and damage, in 25-player mode they deal 10% less damage, and several 25-player bosses, from the Blood Prince Council to Sister Svalna, lost between 5% and 50% of their health
A forced password change
On 13 September Sirus said it will soon force a password change for every account, for the sake of account security. Changing the password also means setting up two-factor authentication again, and 2FA becomes mandatory for accounts above loyalty level 15. Sirus did not report a breach, and it advised players not to reuse passwords across services.
How big Sirus is
At midday on 1 October Sirus's status page showed 10,399 players online on Neverest x3, 1,206 on Sirus x5 and 554 on Soulseeker x1. Its Discord has about 67,000 members.
