Sirus adds the Skyborn as a new neutral allied race

Sirus, the large Russian WotLK+ network, added a new neutral allied race, the Skyborn, on 4 November 2026. Their home is Zephris, a floating island, and each Skyborn chooses which faction to join. The same week, a database error cost players on the Neverest x3 realm a large number of items, and the realm's next raid got its date.

How to unlock the Skyborn

• A level 80 character takes the quest "A Foreign Sky" from an envoy of the Empyrean Synod next to the flight master on Krasus' Landing in Dalaran, then flies to Zephris
• After the island's story chain, daily quests from four quest givers and repeatable tasks raise reputation with the Synod
• At Exalted, the quest "Stairway to Heaven" unlocks the race and the Celestial Constellation, a set of racial abilities. Players can take the new look, or keep their character's appearance and pick the constellation's abilities
• A new Skyborn starts in the village of Tendal on Zephris and joins the Alliance through the night elves or the Horde through the tauren
• Skyborn druids get new bear, cat, swift flight and moonkin forms

A race or faction change to Skyborn also needs the race unlocked first, and the game client has to be updated through the launcher to reach Zephris.

Items lost on Neverest x3

On 1 November, Neverest x3, the network's most populated realm, became unstable and went down for emergency maintenance that ran for several hours. Sirus later explained that a database error had removed a large number of items and other valuables from characters. Not everyone got all their items back at first, and Sirus announced a second restore on 2 November. By 3 November Sirus said almost all of the damage was fixed and that the night's maintenance should stop it from happening again. Anyone still missing items is asked to report it in the in-game problems section of the forum.

As compensation, the weekend bonus and the Day of the Dead event ran until the end of 3 November, and players on the realm got five days of supply deliveries.

Ruby Sanctum on 12 November

Ruby Sanctum opens on Neverest x3 in 10 and 25-player Normal on 12 November at 18:00 Moscow time (15:00 UTC), and being in a raid group is enough to get in. That day, Heroic Gruul's Lair and Magtheridon's Lair stop being current content. On the first Thursday after the raid is fully cleared, Sirus's Quick Start and Upgrade gear rises to item level 245 and the top item level to 264.
