Warmane's Onyxia opens Naxxramas, Eye of Eternity and Obsidian Sanctum

The first Wrath of the Lich King raid tier went live on Warmane's progressive realm Onyxia on 17 January 2026, and Arena Season 5 started at the same time. The release came exactly one week after the level cap rose to 80 on 10 January, which followed the pre-patch on 22 December 2025.

Phase 1 brings:

• Naxxramas (10 and 25 player) with Tier 7
• The Eye of Eternity (Malygos)
• The Obsidian Sanctum (Sartharion and the drake hard modes)
• Arena Season 5 with Deadly Gladiator gear

Onyxia launched as a Burning Crusade realm and went through every TBC tier, so its existing characters enter Northrend together, with no reset.

Update: Onyxia has kept to a roughly three-month cadence since then, with Ulduar on 4 April 2026, Trial of the Crusader on 4 July 2026 and Icecrown Citadel on 6 September 2026. Warmane also ran an inactivity cleanup and gold squish across all realms on 16 February 2026, and ended the Battlegroup 1 arena season on its other realms in early March and August 2026.
