Valkyria WoW links a new LATAM realm with its European realm

Valkyria WoW connected its new LATAM realm with its European realm on 31 May 2026. Players from both realms now appear in the same who-list with a tag for their region. They can talk to each other, invite each other to groups, queue for the dungeon finder together and enter the same dungeon.

The team announced the LATAM realm on 25 May. It wrote that the aim was better latency for players in Latin America "without dividing the community", and that some features could stay limited in the first phases while it put stability first. The link went live in stages. The who-list, private chat and a first version of cross-realm groups came on 27 May, and the dungeon finder and shared dungeons on 31 May. A fix on 28 May stopped one account from logging in to both realms at once.

The announcement also named PvP and battlegrounds between the two regions as a goal. The update notes, which run to 10 June, don’t say that part has been connected.

Other news from the server

  • Weekend bonuses: since 28 May, experience, Valor and Justice, and Honor bonuses switch on automatically every weekend from Saturday.
  • Vashj’ir: on 25 September the admin, KASY, wrote on the forum that Vashj’ir is incomplete, that only the Alliance part has been done and even that needs a review, and that no one is working on the zone for now. They suggested leveling in Mount Hyjal instead.
  • The server is still on patch 4.0.6 and hasn’t announced a date for patch 4.1.
