Valkyria WoW returns with a new website, its own launcher and Mythic+ for Cataclysm

Valkyria WoW announced Mythic+ dungeons for its progressive Cataclysm server on 10 March 2026. The Spanish-run project had come back with a new website on 22 February, and its own launcher followed on 2 March.
The plan
An overview posted on 26 February set out the project: the 4.3.4 client, a world that moves step by step from patch 4.0.6 to 4.3.4, a hardcore mode with permadeath, shared queues for battlegrounds and arenas, experience from x1 to x5 and automatic spell learning.
The launcher
The launcher replaced the old download links. It patches the client and sets the realmlist by itself. It can start with a minimal client and download the rest during play, keeps the server’s own addons up to date, and installs the HD models and the hardcore addon with one click.
Mythic+
Dungeons join the Mythic+ pool when the server reaches their patch:
- 4.0: Blackrock Caverns, Throne of the Tides, The Stonecore, The Vortex Pinnacle, Grim Batol, Halls of Origination, Lost City of the Tol’vir
- 4.1: Zul’Aman, Zul’Gurub
- 4.3: End Time, Well of Eternity, Hour of Twilight
From level 2 each key gets Tyrannical (bosses have 40% more health and deal 15% more damage) or Fortified (other enemies have 20% more health and deal 30% more damage). From level 4 a second affix is added: Sanguine, Volcanic, Bolstering, Raging or Necrotic.
First announced in 2023
Valkyria first advertised an open beta on the same website for 20 October 2023.
