Wallcraft releases the Gigapatch after a teaser promising sailing and 23 new races

Wallcraft released The Gigapatch on 5 September 2025, which its developer called "an update to surpass The Megapatch". The release video says little more than that it is finally here, so the best description of what it contains is the teaser from 5 August 2025:

• 23 new playable races
• A reworked faction system that lets you join and fight for any of the 64 factions in the game, each with its own gameplay
• An overhauled combat formula, for better scaling of content across the world
• Sailing

The teaser promised all of it "in just two weeks". It took a month, and the release video jokes about that too. In between, on 21 August, the developer posted a short clip of sailing from Caer Darrow to Menethil Harbor.

There are no public patch notes, so we could not check which of these made it into the release unchanged.
