Kalidar

Kalidar is the Vanilla realm of The Alpha Project, a community built around pre-release versions of World of Warcraft. It opened in March 2021 as a PvP realm on the 1.12.1 client, runs on the open-source vMaNGOS core and keeps every rate at x1. Content was released patch by patch, starting at patch 1.2, and has now reached 1.12, Drums of War. The owner calls it 100% Blizzlike, apart from the bots. PartyBots can fill a dungeon or raid group with any class or role and are controlled by the player who calls them, you can play battlegrounds against bots, and an auction house bot keeps the auction house stocked. In 2021 the owner wrote that everything except guilds is cross-faction. The project is non-commercial and has no shop of any kind, and the owner has said the server will stay online regardless of population. There is no website. To create an account you join the Alpha Project Discord and send its bot a direct message with the text !register. The community speaks English, and no player count is published.
